QUERYSubject: A lone freeman wages war against the U.S. Military; Before and during the War of 1812;Title: Fort NegroAccording to U.S. History, the Spanish/British-Negro Fort never existed or the fort is a folk tale of some sorts. In other words, the most important battles have been disregarded, merely mentioned or simply blotted out of history. Located in Pensacola, Florida stood a fort that could not be breached for more than five years on American soil, to date that is a record that still stands.I'm a seventh generation of an occupant of that fort, 1813, my great-great-great-great grandfather, born in 1788 as told by my great-great grandfather 1855 to my grandfather 1910 and passed down to my father 1940 and as told to me 1982.The fort won every battle in defense and on the battle field. Cmdr. Garson was assisted by Tecumseh and his Confederacy of Native Tribes #8,000 Braves, 1810-1813. Also by, another member of the fort, Upper Creeks-Red Sticks, Chief Little Warrior, #3,000 Braves- who lived in the nearby woods served as the fort's cavalry and infantry. At all times around 500 and up to 1,500 occupants resided there. Men, women and children all armed. The occupants included freemen, fugitive slaves, a small number of whites in servitude, and various members of native tribes...The Choctaws predominately. This story is a true and original there's none like it. They were led by the freeman named Garson according a very few Historians' account. But, his birth given African-Mende name was Yusuf, born 1786, two years after my first known relative as stated above. Former Chief Garcia was the chief of chiefs of the Choctaws tribes until he was expelled for having too many wives and countless of charges for committing adultery with whites, blacks and native females alike. He was second in command of the last negro fort in the United States.By trade, I'm a Heavy Duty-Diesel Mechanic. My passion is writing. In lay-off season I hold book readings and writing workshops for youths, and senior citizens. Since 2013, I have self-published, (Indie), 12 books, in which four are poetry books. (Amazon and Smashwords.com). I'm presently working on a spin-off screenplay on the same topic above.
