They can then take their sandwich home to demonstrate their understanding of fourths. There are booklets for the following fractions: halves (hamburger), thirds (ice cream cone), fourths (glass of juice and sandwich), sixths (pizza), eighths (Birthday cake), ninths (chocolate bar) and tenths (apples).This hands-on experience sure beats those fill-in-the-blank worksheets!
