We all face various trials on this earthly journey. Some of the trials are life threatening and require faith in God to overcome them. This book tells a story of a trials on a health complication. The news about the diagnosis was received as one would receive a death sentence. A journey is then undertaken in search for a solution. Nonetheless, by the grace of God, mercies are extended and the burning flames are quenched. The book has also documented the fears and stress one would go through when faith is in a furnace, including associated temptations and reactions to trial, both positive and negative. Finally the inner reflections of the heart; the inner voices in circumstances that can best be described as LOOKING DEATH IN THE FACE have been documented, including the faithfulness and sufficiency of God.This story depicts the many frowning providences that believers go through which are outside of our control. These include failure of health, loss of property, and loss of a family member among many others. Some other trying circumstances include denial of a spouse, denial of a child, and struggling to get a decent living. These, if not well handled, may cause protracted pain and sorrow of the heart thereby denying us the much-needed peace.Nevertheless, we are not of those that fall away when faced with trials that shake the foundations of our faith as the warning in Hebrews 6:4-8. “But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation…” Hebrews 6:9. We will hold on to our faith even when good health eludes, children are denied us, there is no spouse coming our way and we are aging, and the portals of death are opened: We will hold on to God as Nehemiah did in reply to his enemies' suggestions to flee for his life and hide in the temple: “Should such a man as I flee?” Nehemiah 6:11. This book, seeks to encourage many in sundry trials not to flee.I invite you to get a copy of “Great is thy faithfulness”.Barnabas Chiboboka
