Professor Proctor has been sent into exile to the California School of Happiness Psychology. Nestled in the Catatonia foothills overlooking the numbingly beautiful coastline and banked by lush marijuana groves, the school threatens to suck Proctor down into a swamp of corruption, political incorrectness, and murder. Fortunately, an accreditation team of the National Association of Therapy Schools is on its way to investigate the school's new graduate program in Mindlessness. But drugged with Happiness Finest and tempted by sexual license, will the team be able to keep its bearings? Board Chairman Buns and Accountant Louie, along with the school's money, disappear and the school's founder, Widow Perkins, declares martial law. Meanwhile the irrepressible Buns and the divine Angelita have founded the Baha School of Orgasmic Heaven in La Paz with Louie as faculty chair. Turning over in his grave, Freud mutters, "Oy veh, the Americans. I told you so!
