Blackmail, robbery, betrayal's among drug dealers and now murders are being driven by the same motive. The one motivating force driving these crimes: the cities mysterious Voodoo Loa known as Papa Legba. A controlling spirit whose communication abilities ties together the living and the dead in this world. Directing prosperous crimes then allowing mercy but only through threats of violence or death if not carried out. New Orleans most famous detective Cal Panterra was apathetic to this, until the city's wickedness becomes personal when one of Cal's closest friends gets too close and becomes a victim of the Legba's wrath.
