I.M. Haiku or Identity Manifesting Haiku is a philosophical poetry book that utilizes the Americanized version of The traditional Japanese Haiku. It also contains essays and other forms of artistic expression, including a glossary, that expounds upon Identity Manifesting Theory. (I.M. Theory) "We can choose the identity we wish to use in the moment we are in" We can do this by staying aware and by living a life that includes developing a principled-centered core, and by maintaining a mindset of proactive thinking. Also by living the L.I.F.E. Principle (love is for everyone) and by accessing our conscientious consciousness, we can become who it is we are supposed to be. Writing haiku is a tool that the author used to center himself during a very turbulent time in his life's journey; so that he could base his decisions upon concepts greater then himself. I.M. Haiku is intended to be a prelude to future works of his expounding upon the Identity Manifesting Theory. This book also introduces the concept that we are our relationships, and that each and everyone of us has our own Inner-Verse. It is the unseen songs of our inner-verse that manifest to become our seen persona, the identity by which we interact with everything else that is connected within the Web of Existence. Know thyself, to free thyself, from thyself, in order to become thyself. It is the author's contention that we limit ourselves from becoming who we are supposed to be, by getting in our own way and that each and everyone of us has the ability to choose our own attitudes regardless of the situation we find ourselves in. The haiku and other writings in this book are expressions whose main purpose is to inspire others to strive in becoming their true selves. The world is designed to fragment us and to cause us to lose our awareness, and it is up to us to stay true to our course as we navigate back to the source of ALL THINGS. Hopefully after reading this book, you will be able to add, writing haiku of your own to the arsenal of mental, emotional, and spiritual techniques you already possess that enables you to be the best person you can be in the moment as it is happening right here and right now. This book is the kind of book that has layers of different meanings that can only be uncovered after meditating upon what you have read and then re-reading it again. It is a wellspring of continuous improvement that will help you to unearth the treasures of your own inner-verse. Again, the haiku in this book were written by the author to keep his equanimity and his psyche composure during the crisis times of his L.I.F.E.'s journey to date - and if you get no other pearl of wisdom or gem of knowledge after reading this book, at least you will have experienced how one other person utilizes poetry to emote their toxic feelings into a work of constructive beauty. It is the author's hope that you the reader will find the writings in this book as inspiration in creating your own poetry, essays, or other pieces of art. For in the act of creating art one becomes one part of the Divine and thus one realizes eternity is lived, in the Now. It is up to US to define who we are in the moment as it happens. Also as a final note, the author has earmarked the majority of the profits of this book for charitable causes focusing upon the redemption of others - who seek to regain their humanity and to improve themselves emotionally, spiritually, and mentally speaking; and/or to causes that help to alleviate the poverty of humanity that is all around US. Omnia ab uno. We (all) are one. Enjoy.
