Description

There is something very purposeful and specific about the aspects of prayer. Many believe that any and every one can pray to God and that He will hear them. Unfortunately for many, that is not the case. The Bible shows the primary requirement to be in communication with God is to be His child. Romans 8:14-17 and10:9-19 clearly expresses what it means and exactly how to be a child of the Lord. Once Christ is accepted into our lives, we have become His children and we begin to experience a true love for God. As God gives you a new heart, you begin to truly understand and appreciate all that He did on the cross. This will cause a devotion and a love for Him that you never knew you would experience. Due to that love that you now have for God, that is when prayer takes effect in your relationship with Him. Prayer is our love language to God. Once we have accepted Christ, His Spirit now lives inside of us. God is love and because of that, when we are led by His Spirit, our actions are done from a place of love. 1 John 4:8 tells us that it is because of knowing God that we even know what love is. In prayer, we are to be led by His Spirit as we communicate with the essence of love with Him. Just like any relationship we care for deeply, God is wanting us to spend time in prayer (communication) with Him. In doing so we grow to know His voice without doubt which makes following in His will more obtainable. This particular reading will explain the correct process of obtaining a lucrative fruitful and exciting prayer life. Prayer is something we have to learn and be taught to do. Jesus taught His disciples how to pray and presented them with the recipe in Matthew 6:5-16. The disciples needed to learn how to pray correctly and effectively as well. If you don't want your praying to be in vain, you must be taught to pray correctly and effectively as well as having a willing mind to learn. One must learn to pray in sincerity and in truth."... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16 This book is solely about the most important thing needed in our relationship with God which is prayer. It is not about the gift of speaking or praying in tongues. We first need to understand prayer and its significance before we can introduce the gifts that the Lord gives. It is important to remain focused on God and the true privilege it is to be able to communicate with Him before being gravitated by the gifts He provides. God said if my people would pray and this book will help God's people to do just that. Enjoy
