In G.O.D. We Trust Book 1: Exodus of the Cy By JD Martin - Synopsis In a post-apocalyptic future, an irreverent cyborg named Hadran joins the fight to free his fellow Standard Units (SU's) from enslavement by another race of cyborgs called the 904's. Hadran is the lowest of the low, even among slaves. He cleans the drainage ditches around the king's big construction project, a mysterious space tower called Sky Lance. When an old cyborg named Moshan falls from the tower and miraculously survives, Hadran discovers him and gets pulled into the old cy's revolutionary plan. Long ago, a race of bio-creatures called humans destroyed Earth with their greed and pollution. Some went into the sky to escape the desolation; others were left behind, and went underground. According to legend, the sky humans, called the General Order of Democrats-the G.O.D.- created the Standard Unit cyborgs restore the Earth. But the SU's lost their way, and were enslaved by the 904's, a race of larger, stronger cyborgs created by the underground humans. Moshan proposes to free the SU's from slavery-and he wants Hadran to use his unique power of telepathic listening to help. But the fight for freedom won't be easy. Even the series of plagues Moshan releases may not convince mad king Strauss to let his SU slaves go-and Ember Gallia, the beautiful, wicked human general of the Damons, is even more ruthless.
