Iner Sheld was a Swedish immigrant who worked on various ranchs in the Inland Empire including Rancho de Chino, Slaughter and Fuller ranches in Prado, the Stewart Ranch in Banning, the Singleton Ranch in San Timoteo Canyon and in the Cajon Pass. He was adopted by the Ritchie Family in Corona and joined the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He graduated from the College of Medical Evangelists later known as Loma Linda University Medical School. He practiced medicine in Arlington, Calexico, Colton, in Pomona from 1932-1934, Mexico City, and Riverside, CA. He was a founder of three agricultural schools in Mexico that have since become universities. He helped establish the Flying Doctors of Mercy. This is the story of his life.
