This book tackles, inter alia, a health and wellness issue affecting women that society for the most part has ignored.Eve and her friends, Marlene and Sue, become fed up of the disrespect meted out to women by men, especially at the workplace. Eve's and Marlene's bosses, in particular, act with monstrous disrespect towards them. Marlene decides to find alternative employment but during a job interview, her male interviewer attempts to rape her. The women are outraged and feel forced to teach the three men a lesson by kidnapping them and administering necessary "therapy", in order to rehabilitate them. Eve however is involved in a vehicular accident in the middle of their plotting and loses her memory, leaving Sue and Marlene to do the dirty work. Hoping to recover from her amnesia, Eve befriends a man, Jack, who claims they were childhood friends and who fills her in on past experiences. In the act of making new memories with her girlfriends as well as with Jack, Eve suffers even more dislocation when her memories return and the battle between the sexes becomes nothing but a bizarre reality in which no one wins.
