So many times I have failed to record those precious times when reading and mediating on His Word only to wish that I had written those thoughts down. It is so easy in our fast paced world to just want to get things done so that we can move on to the next item on our list. I was so guilty of doing that myself. I always wanted to see how much I could squeeze into a day. It wasn?t until the loss of my wife that I suddenly realized how short life really was and how important it was to slow down and spend time in the things that really mattered. The most important of which, was my time with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My times spent each morning, alone with Him are my most precious times and I have found that they are worth remembering. I love while when you are in the Word, whether it be reading, meditating or praying and the Holy Spirit speaks to you. It could be that He has opened your eyes to something that you need to correct or something that you need to consider in your daily walk of faith. It could be a truth that you had not understood before and all of a sudden it was as though a light had just gone on and it all became instantly clear. Regardless of what the Spirit of God reveals to you while you are spending time with Him it is worth remembering and that is why I have decided to make this journal available.
