This is done in order to evaluate the nature of the problem, and future developments that could take place. The book also focuses on the prevalence of politicization in MERCOSUR and the pre-eminence of Presidential Diplomacy over the path of regional integration, which influence the DSM of MERCOSUR and possible developments that might occur in the near future.
