The book follows her life through the Great Depression, two world wars, her years at the University of Arizona, her time as CEO of Finley Distributing, and her fundraising and philanthropy for organizations like the Arizona Children's Home, the Tucson Children's Museum, the Tucson Medical Center and the Women's Studies Advisory Board. Born in 1920, at 88 years old, Dorothy Finley is still working with nonprofits and contributing to the growth of Arizona.
