When, in 1994, Gwyn Briwnant Jones published Great Western Corris, it was thought that there would not be the scope for a sequel. Since then many photographs and information have come to light which are here presented as a picture album paying tribute to the enduring appeal of this line. The life of this busy 2'3" line was brought to an abrupt end on the morning of 23rd August 1948 when the river Dovey washed away part of the embankment. Some of the photographs taken by Richard Casserley and his father, who were amongst the first to hear the sad news, are included in this photographic tribute to the work done by this busy little line - coal and general merchandisc to be taken to the villages along the Dulas valley and the return journey loaded with slates, slabs...and moss!
