I have designed this second book in a way that helps preschool children, and people who are interest in learning the English language from the start, to get interested in words by listening, following the printed words, playing and having fun. This colouring book aims to teach 2 year olds and up, by listening to the stories relating to the alphabet, by recognising words, repeating what is read to them - using a full range of basic skills to prepare them for life and to make reading and learning fun!Your child will quickly learn to recognise, identify and associate pictures with words to start reading and writing.Opposite each colouring page of the alphabet are little stories to add to working with your child. Read the story aloud while pointing to each word, so your child can see the words, letting them repeat the words. And while you read your child can also see on the right-side page, the A, the B etc. and then they can recognise when the A, B, or C's are used in the story. Let them tell you when they see or hear the word. Another way is to sing the words, making it a song and dance book. Like the way we sing "Happy Birthday to you".The first book I wrote - Learning the Alphabet, Colouring book - is with actual 3, 4 and 5 letter words on the left hand side, with the A, B, C's on the right hand side. All could be coloured in.But this book is for parents to read the stories with their child to show how in each story it uses the alphabet related to each letter.I do hope you and your child enjoys using this reading and colouring book and spending quality time together.
