I didn't have expectations as a child, but life's experiences have taught me to expect certain things as I've grown older. I've been through a lot and survived. My kids didn't kill me and we still like each other, so I must have done something right. Maybe you'll see a little of your life in my book. My secret desire has always been to be a stand-up comedienne. Making people laugh and looking for humor in things that aren't always funny have seen me through the tough times in my life. I'm happily married with two grown sons, and my husband Kelly is my best audience.
