Mercy! What Was I Thinking? is the life story of a woman who experience abandonment issues, many cultures, religions and frightening abusive relationships. Many unwise decisions are made as a result of a dysfunctional family, and desperate attempts to escape unhealthy situations, especially from a very dangerous man. There are times of humorous events, times of heart rendering losses, sorrows, as well as consequences of decisions that should have (and could have) been avoided. The author would hope that this story would be a help to others who have endured similar trials and tribulations to avoid the same pitfalls. or at least make the necessary, course corrections to come out of situations in the wisest, safest way possible and end being the victim. Victory is finally achieved when there is acknowledgment, yielding and relying on God, "The Great Orchestrator in the sky." It helps to know God's love and how precious you are in his sight.
