Jean-Nil Chabot was born in Quebec in 1940. He has worked in lumber camps, on the railroad, on construction sites and as a promoter of the economic reforms of Social Credit.A However, his training was for teaching, a profession he has exercised for a few years only. Through the years he acquired degrees in education, theology and philosophy (Ph.D.) He married Anne Peters and they have five children."
