But one of the most pressing research needs is to understand better the relative importance of the attributes of competitiveness. Strategies for improving destination competitiveness must make decisions about where and how limited resources should be directed. Therefore, information which helps to identify which attributes are likely to influence competitiveness most effectively, are of considerable value." -- Publisher.
