The trust was, I had thought about getting an abortion the instant I found out that I was pregnant with him because I was only eighteen years old at the time, still in high school, and had been accepted into the university programme I wanted. My handsome blond haired son stared at me with his brown eyes, patiently waiting for an answer. I didn't want to lie to him, but didn't know how to tell him that his father and I had not planned to have him and that abortion had been my first thought when I looked at my positive pregnancy test back in June of 2000. How could I look at my loving son in the eyes and tell him that I didn't originally jump for joy and then happily announce the news to the whole world? Obviously, I ended up changing my mind about getting an abortion and have absolutely no regrets about my decision. This is my true story of how my precious son came into the world and changed my life. I don't know what I would do without him. Being a mother is truly the most wonderful thing in the world.
