When younger, I always wore small size clothing and didn't think much about my weight. That is until, after having three kids, though years apart, now ages, 26, 20 & 10, my weight was never the same. I tried every diet I could find, but nothing I did seem to work. I was tired of trying out and spending so much money on one diet after another over the years. I just could not find a diet that worked the way I wanted it to. One day, Thanksgiving week 2016, my roommate took a picture of me with the clothes I would wear for Thanksgiving dinner. I saw that picture of myself and I could not believe how I let myself go this badly. I felt so embarrassed. I did not look anywhere near how I used to look 15-20 years ago. I definitely did not want to continue looking the way I did in that picture. That evening, after seriously concentrating on that picture, I made up my mind. I was going to lose the weight I wanted to lose and I will keep it off. I spent that entire night coming up with ideas and researching possible healthy foods that will help me achieve my goals. The next day, I started this dietary challenge. OMG!!! A year later, as you will see in my before and after pictures, I am exactly where I want to be. Everyone I know has asked me what I have done to lose all this weight. Some friends even ask if I have had any type of surgery. I have not had any type of surgery and I lost my weight by being determined and motivated to have the body I had when younger. I turned 55 December 2017 and no one I know outside of my family believes my age. All I say to that is "I am only as young as I feel." Many friends have asked me to give them my secret. Though it's as easy as can be expected and I really didn't consider this a secret, I decided to write this mini-book on my weight loss challenge. I actually now feel 30 years younger than I did when that first picture was taken November 2016. See if you can see what I saw and why I did as I did. FF
