Hello and thanks for for considering to either buy, steal or borrow my book from whoever. I hope you enjoy it. If you don't like it because you're up on some kind of moral high horse, that's fine too as long as you paid for the book. Most of my fans are used to war-fiction and post apocalyptic books from me. I was between projects when I decided to finally write Nomen Neurosis. I was about to put out Cruel New Stories, a short story book supporting my Cruel New World Series (I'm the same guy that wrote that too). The idea for this book came to me a long time ago when I was observing cyber-stalkers. I knew it would be a quick book to write and I needed fast money to purchase some land on the coast. I didn't really know how crazy people could be and still seem to get by in the world. The further you got out into the realm of fringe groups, the worse they got. The funny thing was how these people stalked, threatened, ranted and raved but then went on with fairly normal lives. Dean Andrews, the main weirdo in this book, is a good fictional example of the type I'm talking about. Very little in his world isn't grounded firmly in fantasy, whether its stuff he picked up from the web or made up on his own. He's normally under copious amounts of medication which keeps him from hurting anyone...usually. He makes up a good story to excuse all the things in his life he hates. Vanhouser is an individual Dean is obsessed with and whom he pretends or perhaps, believes is his best friend. Though Dean is a notorious stalker of numerous people both local and online, Vanhouser is the one he spends the most time on. The book opens with Dean emailing Vanhouser after a late-night hallucination. He imagines Vanhouser on a late-night talk show. This book goes out to everybody who has ever had to put up with a loon like Dean and didn't have enough sense to get a lawyer. Enjoy seeing this all go down. You know you want to, sicko.
