There was plenty of flat quiet surrounding the Bunker so it was easy to tell if something was coming a mile away, and that suited him to a tee.The building was big, windowless, had only one door, and blended into the landscape - all in the plus column for Walt. But the organic Adobe architecture was a façade concealing the actual construction and real purpose of the structure. Lead-lined, reinforced concrete slabs were stacked into thick walls, forming the earthen-style monolith, built to keep anyone inside alive.That is unless Syl shows up. She's Walt's young protégé and has a habit of making people die.Everyone thought the building was to keep them safe from an Iron Curtain atomic blast, and it would, but there were other dangers in the desert, and the Bunker was the only place safe from them.
