Overshare is a collection of journal comics I've made off and on over the past 5 years during some really hard and isolating moments in life where I got divorced, lost my mom, rebuilt my life, was an abuse victim, and eventually became a cancer caregiver rebuilding my life for the second time. The comics became a really cathartic part of processing those stuck emotions in my chest. They were, and still are, a safe way to voice my feelings and control how they're expressed with the help of art and in the context of something digestible like a comic. This book is by no means a complete narrative or a perfect timeline of the period, but it's meant to be a vulnerable snapshot during a really dark time; sharing my thoughts and emotions. My hope is if someone reads this who is going through something similar, it makes them feel heard and validated in their experience. All too often we convince ourselves we're the only ones struggling, but you're definitely not alone. I exist because of the people around me who I love with all my heart.
