Abstract: Pair correlations in magnetic Josephson junctions strongly depend on the parameters of the magnetic component. We study how the pair correlations generated in the superconductor extend into a magnetic trilayer in the ballistic regime and compare these to known results in the diffusive regime. We vary the parameters of individual magnetic layers, which are the thickness (dF1,dF2,dF3), the magnitude of the magnetization h, the angle [Phi] between the directions of the magnetization and the band filling np within each layer. We observe a variety of effects as these parameters are changed. We confirm that parallel spin triplet pair correlations (called f11 in this thesis) never truly dominate in the magnetic trilayer, irrespective of the changes in parameter values. The singlet state f0 and the zero spin-projection triplet state f10 always intermix with f11. We observe that unlike the diffusive regime f11 becomes slightly larger than other correlations in the central layer when decreasing the thickness of the central layer. We also observe and describe empirically a beating effect of the oscillations observed in the f11 component as one changes dF1 = dF3 or np.
