Oklahoma Territory troubleshooter James Stark (The Peacemaker) is a little rankled because restaurant owner Randall Burke is flirting with the feisty attorney Prudence McKay. He's especially annoyed since Prudence is having dinner with Stark at the time. Stark is even more irked when he learns that Burke is acting as a broker of rustled cattle in lawless No Man's Land. He agrees to help several ranchers oppose Burke's small army of hired guns. Burke, though, has more up his sleeve than Stark realizes, including the exotic fighting skills of Burke's bodyguard, the ominous Chinese killer, Chin. Stark must stop Burke, once and for all, from using the guise of a legitimate businessman to camouflage the actions of a deadly outlaw.
