T.J. Montgomery a former Army Ranger turned Private Investigator finds himself in one of the most bizarre cases he has ever been involved with. A twenty year od mystery that could not be solved by the local or federal agencies. Virginia Buchanan has hired the services of T.J. to find her mother and return her home to her. Twenty years earlier at what was supposed to her eighteenth birthday party, both Virginia and her mother were kidnapped from their home by Carlos Vega the head of the Vega Cartel. During the party Martin Buchanan was shot and presumed dead by his wife and daughter. T. J. must uncover the identity of a man in black lurking in the shadows spying on T.J. and everyone in the mansion. Using a passageway inside the mansion walls and some old slave tunnels the man in black is able to avoid being caught or seen. While he's working the case he stumbles into another mystery of a large amount of Civil War gold. Gold stolen by Martin Buchanan's Great, Great, Great, Grandfather Captain Robert Buchanan. The gold seems to be what has attracted the head of the Vega Cartel to the mansion. Wanting the gold for himself Carlos sends his men to thgge mansion to steal the gold, believed to be somewhere on the property. T.J. enlist the help of his best friends Steve Browning and Ben Johnson along with the rest of the old gang to protect the mansion and everyone there from Carlos and his men. Meanwhile T.J. with the some help is in Mexico working on the freedom of Anabel Buchanan.
