He was appointed HMAC Project Electrical Engineer.This is the author's autobiographical story as Project Manager for the planning, design, specification, equipment acquisition, erection and commissioning of the power supplies required as well as overhaul of a second hand rectiformer and specification of an identical second unit to provide the high current d.c. systems for the electo winning process. Many of the technical challenges were unique and specific to the project and required innovative solutions.
