The only problem is she went without him. Hot on her trail, he follows her to Paris. She hasn't been idle since her arrival. She's found work as a journalist and rents a bedsit overlooking the River Seine. Now all he must do is convince her to return to Colorado and marry him. Isabella isn't going anywhere. She's working undercover with a group of homeless people who live beneath Paris streets. They have links to a drug lord connected to a series of murders, and it's only a matter of time before she will unmask the perpetrator. The friend, however, has a hidden agenda and involves Joe in a plot that puts his life in danger. When a connection is made between Isabella and Joe, Isabella ends up in the hands of fanatics who use her as leverage. The clock is ticking as Joe tries to find Isabella and defuse a series of bombs set beneath Paris streets.
