Mayans had predicted 2012 to be the end of the world, and the not so good upheavals, terrorism, natural disasters occurring worldwide, probably was the ideal background for my book "Ravine and Peak." Being a part of nature, how long is it possible not to be effected by it's woes and cries. My pen started automatically writing whatever the Mother Earth and Nature used to communicate with me. Then my 'Air and Mountain' poem caught some international attention when it was included in the top best contemporary poems of the world in 2017. Thus began the process of selecting some of my NATURE related poems out of my few hundreds of poems which I henceforth compiled to bring into a book form. I want you to be a part of my journey as you go through this "Ravine and Peak." My aim is to bring awareness and sensitize all about something we now no longer can ignore i.e. Nature! We all have enough knowledge but we need heart and soul to do some righteous action if we intend to save the human race from this doom of extinction! However, these poems will only become better and appreciable through your support and your views, advice, and directions, which I request you to continually send it to me. I wish to express my gratitude to nature and its myriad forms of expression including all life forms - flora, fauna, human!
