In 2015, the Susannah Lee Barlow chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution became a partner with the United States of American Vietnam War Commemoration. Because the chapter is located in Oregon City, Oregon, the original intent was to learn more about veterans from Oregon City whose names appear on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC.
