A 19-year-old musician gets orders to South Vietnam in 1970 ... within days, he lands a gig as the lead singer and guitarist of a rock band. He finally understands WHY he was over there and WHAT his role was, however, when he gets orders to go home, drugs are found in his system, and he has to stay an extra week in rehab (in a barbed-wire-type compound).
