About This Book This book is an epic science fiction adventure in two parts. Ceraneans and Seekers were part of the first civilization that escaped Earth one hundred thousand years ago as the Great Ice Age set in. The alien Shapes had almost annihilated the Seekers when they met headlong in the Beyond, and nearly a millennium had passed since the Seekers found refuge with their brothers on Ceran. As time passed, they yearned to return to their golden age of discovery The beginning of the Seekers' renaissance was to be a rocket build and test, but fate had other plans. As they traversed the treacherous High Plateau of Celestia, they found themselves again hunted by the mysterious and brutal beings known as Shapes. Zaneth, a beautiful young reporter, agreed to guide them on their journey. But little did they know that the trek across the plateau was to be broadcast as a reality show and networked to entertain the entire Ceranean star system. But the story does not end there. In Part II of the book, Zaneth's bravery and leadership have earned her a promotion, and her companion Ben - a key player in the early stages of the adventures, begins to learn the errors of his ways. He is sent to Earth by the Elders of Ceran and meets Calvin, an engineering student. Together they search for a hidden cache of Celestanite, an element of immense power. Ben must locate the cache and signal a Ceranean Battle Fleet, but this is only the beginning of their troubles. There is a terrifying showdown close to the massive black hole at the center of our galaxy. Then with the guidance of Zaneth, they uncover a technology that threatens the fabric of spacetime itself, and the fate of all civilization hangs in the balance. About Celestanite First, it was uranium, next plutonium, then at last; controlled fusion; the holy grail of energy sources. Then Celestanite crystal was discovered. Nothing like it had ever been known; it was the ultimate power source. A high civilization arose, and the Ceraneans had to keep Celestanite from the jealous Shapes - at any cost. It was a power for good but also a tool for evil.
