An imaginative teen fantasy like no other, author M. E. Williams' fourth novel, Seven Magic Jewels of Versa, is a fascinating epic that takes the high road in the battle between good and evil. As Williams weaves yet another dynamic and engaging storyline with unforgettable characters, he illustrates how the stones of adversity build friendships, and how the challenges we overcome mold who and what we become. In Versa prosperity revolves around the planting and birthing seasons. Life is simple enough until the Jewels of Versa are taken, which townsfolk have good reason to believe will destroy the delicate fabric of all they hold dear. With time of the essence, Midi, the kingdom's wizard, foretells that all hope rests with Tierney, a simple tavern girl who inadvertently comes to possess one of the jewels, and Attle, a Kanop warrior whose knowledge of the Jewels are second to none and equal only to his thirst for maidens and ale. It's a struggle for Attle to convince the timid Tierney to follow him through a magic portal in order to accept her destiny. From there it's up to Tierney to battle Casinda, Princess of Darkness in the Land of Three Moons, who masterminded Versa's downfall and has since been double-crossed by those who aided her wicked pursuits. All eyes will turn to Casinda's twin sister Celeste, the good Princess of Arcoala. It is her knights who outfit Tierney as a warrior-and with the arrogant Myst Pixie, who constantly chides Tierney to serve royal, rather than human, endeavors. As Tierney marches forth gathering Versa's jewels her powers grow, though to save Versa she must make it in time.
