He is not comfortable in his motherland onaccount of prevalent conditions dominated by bribery, nepotism, exploitation and other allied ills. But, born in a country where values and traditions score over anything else, his assimilation with the American society proves a little difficult. He is an upright person with conscience, and is confident of his competence and capability to survive and succeed in an uncongenial far away land.. The confidence leads him to leave everything, including his family back home. In the process, he fails to weigh the infirmities, imbalances and shortcomings of human nature, which are integral to humans and none can claim to rise above these basic instincts.
