This is a book of song - but perhaps better explained, this is a book of lyrics since none of the songs have been scored with their tunes. Generally when I write a song, I attach a tune to it that I use to sing my own song, however, none of my songs have been scored with those tunes. I do believe that anyone who wants to affix a tune of their own to a song should do that. In other words, consider yourself welcome to attach any tune of choice to a song of choice. OK?Though some of my songs are actually poems, most of those songs (and poems) express a notion that all life is worthy because all life is divine - or more emphatically - DIVINE. I have written a lot of essays and stories too that say the same thing. Life is worthy because it is of God, but that God is not a "Person" but rather a "Presence" that is IN everything. Accordingly, we can have no sin when sin is defined as "lacking God." No one can lack God if God is IN everything.I consider myself to be a Divine Naturist in that I believe that all is Divine, but I also consider myself a Christian in that I believe that Jesus believed the same as I do. Jesus was not a Jewish Messiah in light of the idea that none of us need "saved" from a sin we do not have, but Jesus was one who believed that we are all "sons of the Living Father" simply because we are all Divine. Jesus was and is not the "only son of God," but he was "a son of God" just like we all are. Traditional Christianity does not agree with that assessment because traditional Christianity believes all are of sin - as St. John so aptly puts it in many of his writings - from his Gospel in the BIBLE to his notions as expressed in The Book of Revelation which ends the BIBLE.My main sources for the Jesus in which I believe are the oppressed and suppressed gospels of Thomas and Mary Magdalene. I won't go into further detail here, but in brief, The Gospels of Thomas & Mary Magdalene were Gospels - or works - that offer a different Jesus than a Jesus who was a Jewish Messiah. Those books were banned in the 4th Century by church and government. Again, without going into further detail here, many of my seven books that I have recently published deal with those hidden and banned gospels. I need say no more here.Enjoy my book songs - along with my other writings - as you can and will. Thanks so much for your attention!Gently, Francis William Bessler
