In order to scare the animals away, Lady runs around banging pots and pans dressed in her crazy bedtime outfit. Despite the wild eccentricities of their new masters, Allie and Bailey have found a wonderful new home and are now part of the family. Author Joella Romero-Robinette, 58, lives in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside Alamosa, Colorado, with her second husband and dogs. At her age, she is a bit eccentric, but that often leads to entertaining stories to tell.
