He has two Engineering Degrees from MSU, and is a licensed professional engineer and land surveyor for the State of Colorado. After 36 years, he retired as a division head in a large utility company. He then went to work in the Airline Industry where he retired the second time. He and his wife have traveled the world and have rode camels in the desert; an elephant in the jungle, flown helicopters in the Andes and have experienced more than 70 different countries. He and his late wife have three sons, 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
