But when Cully discovers there are more layers surrounding their disappearance, he begins to question whether he should be involved at all and what Mr. Hester's real motives are. The wealthy man's influence in DC makes Cully's investigation much more difficult to navigate. But some of the people in his inner circle spill the truth about the disappearances, and more and more it begins to look like Mrs. Hester left on purpose.
