A professional editor made the following comments of the de Lafitte Protocol.'I very much enjoyed this suspenseful novel. With great brio, you completely immerse the reader in a superwealthy aristocratic milieu of hunt meets and private jets, whilst at the same time seemingly equally au fait with the 'Zeiss scope' and the 'Milanese silencers' of the ex-Mafia gangsters stalking them. I was also highly impressed with the sheer propulsive energy of your narrative, leaving your readers consistently entertained by the first book of the trilogy.'After two killings the No1 book ends, followed on by many more unexplained assassinations, secretely carried out by the ex-mafia gang.Eventually by book No3, the young Dr.Charles Russell Lafitte who was made head of the family, and instigates a pragmatic sting operation, which with the last minute aid of his rediscovered twin who had been abducted at birth by the eldest son of the ex-Mafia Don. Sir Henry is finally confronted by Dr. Charles and his cousin Mark de Beaumont and is given a final option to cooperate or be exposed butcontrives to commit suicide on the hunting field. Finally, Dr. Charles is united with his his twin and they both seek an end to the slaughter, particularly when Charles' twin falls in love with a distant cousin and seeks to follow the same route to conversion as that achieved by John Henry Newman, who is soon expected to be declared an English saint.
