The Lord develops a work in NorthfieldThe growth into Northfield, Minnesota comes with major surprisesAt the end of Spirit of Fire, the final book of the Stillwater Mission Series, the growth of Chozen Frozen into southern Minnesota was seemingly going ahead as planned. The Lord works in Edvard, Nils' brother. Edvard was going to do a gallery like his brother had. However, they had no idea how resourceful Edvard actually was. The wife the Lord gives Edvard is a badly damaged woman who is radically reborn and transformed. She turns out to be exactly what Edvard needed, to do what he was called to do.The gallery is much smaller because Northfield was built around colleges, not industry. It is very prosperous, but controlled by academic needs. Downtown Northfield is a small worldly delight of beautiful old buildings in a beautifully developed area next to the Cannon River. But it's missing something at its core.St. Olaf College was where Red Wing Seminary was finally put to rest by the larger world of Norwegian American Lutherans. This happened after Luther Seminary digested it theologically up in St. Paul. But that was all done by the world religious system. The Lord plans to do something about what He sees as a serious problem. But no one knows that. There's just a general recognition by the new gallery that their walk in the Lord is a direct outgrowth of what Hans Nielsen Hauge began within the Norwegian State Lutheran Church in 1796. The way it comes about is yet another revelation of the creativity of our Lord and King. The way, the truth, and the life cannot be contained. It's a delight. The Northfield Development series is a standalone series built off of all that Ascended Light, Servants of Jíísas, Truth & Beauty, Hagiai Gem Hunters, and Chozen Frozen have done over the previous eight years.
