The words flow from the page and form a movie in your head where you grow intimate with the main character, Terra. You feel her pain, her fear, her desire, all of her emotions as your own. Every turn of the page leaves you yearning for more. With as difficult as it was to put down, I easily read it in its entirety in probably a day's worth of time, and it was easy to pick back up where I left off. I definitely can't wait to see what the next book has to offer, it's easy to see that this is going to be an incredible series with no clear end in sight. So many mysteries go unanswered at the end, leaving me hungry for the next installment!
