Laman and Lemuel want to rule and plan to kill Nephi. Nephi flees with those who will follow him and founds the city of Lehi-Nephi. The Lamanites attack the Nephites. Nephi's brother Jacob teaches of Jesus Christ and His atonement. Nephi teaches from the Prophet Isaiah about the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the last days, the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, and the prophecies surrounding it's publication.
