Though the reality held an unreal harshness, Judy knew that it was him, it could be no other. For the briefest of moments, she felt comfort in the hope that this was all a joke but as she stared at the ghastly smile, she realized that the demon was now ripping at her clothing. During the year 1843, in the beautiful and prospering state of Louisiana, many, including the Green family, seek honest and exciting opportunities.
