In the near future, squabbles over diminishing resources spark conflicts. When the Chinese army invades Vietnam, the Vietnamese military are quickly overwhelmed. Told from alternating viewpoints, the March of the Dragons follows the increasingly desperate situation facing the student partisans as they face fear, betrayal and the ever present risk of annihilation as their paths converge with Timothy, Zhang and a sinister Chinese officer who will stop at nothing to destroy the last resistance.
