Some of the works in this collection have been sold as stand-alone gift items (single-page poetry, decorated and matted, or as reprints on parchment) and some written under her former pen name, M. Elizabeth Ward. As a songwriter also, Mary Beth has written music and song arrangements for several of the works in this collection. She is a member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and performs many of her original songs at music festivals and other venues throughout Florida. She invokes poetic license in her grammatical and formatting interpretations; using the Monotype Corsiva font as it is her favorite, and centering the lines to give the words an appearance of gliding across the page. Her goal in this presentation is to touch the hearts, minds, and senses of the readers.
