The year is 2330 and parts of the earth is a half-domed world that has evolved into an super electronic haven. Medical strides have far exceeded life expectancy, but the one thing that will never be extinct are authentic functioning body parts which can still only be obtained from one source--a living being. Murdered people begin to show up with missing organs and when a high profiled philanthropist is found dead the World Police begins an investigation that leads them to CVR, Creative Visual Realms, a virtual reality Role-play world also known as, THE PLEASURE PLANET. Jillian Montrose is shy and has a penchant for everything that is considered outdated and historical such as IPods, CD's laptops and vintage clothing made of real cloth. She is also fascinated with Scottish lore and the lives of the lords and ladies of that era. Her best friend Danica Volen, utilizes a good portion of her personal credits to buy Jillian a visit to CVR hoping to bring her out of her shell and enjoy a virtual sexual romp that will have her reeling. Jillian is skeptical because of some strange things she's heard about the place, but finally agrees. CVR is two light years away in the Alusion Galaxy, and Jillian is transported to 1650 RavenKirk Scotland where she is transformed into the haughty, belligerent, teasing and beautiful Princess Liana Tennant who goes against the very fabric of Ladylike decorum of the time. Unwise in the ways of men she uses her status as a shield to drive her admirers to unresolved distraction. She meets Kagan Ravenswood the Lord of RavenKirk who is to be her husband by arrangement and conquest. His appraisal of her breathtaking beauty and teasing arrogance is set aside when Liana shows no remorse about her slights, or her tongue which is as sharp as his knife. Enthralled, Kagan dares not show it as he realizes Liana is used to getting her way and vows to change all that. Disobeying his direct orders Liana goes on one of her midnight rides and is abducted. Kagan is wild with fury and fear to think the women he is trying hard not to love is in the hands of danger by the Highland's worst criminal. Vowing to get her back, he fights and wins. As is the custom of the marriage night, Liana awaits her husband in the consummation chamber. Kagan enters, dismisses all except one handmaid. He requests Liana to be observant as he brings about an erotic, sensual teasing seduction in the handmaiden. Liana only cries and Kagan thinks perhaps he has gone too far and tells her that as her husband he will teach her the ways to love him and together they will have mutual satisfaction all their lives. Jillian/Liana awakens from her virtual reality scenario and returns home and tells Danica how thrilling and real the Virtual role play seemed. They find that a new CEO named Kainan Randall has taken over their company and to Jillian's shock he just happens to be the spitting image of her CVR highland lover Kagan Ravenswood. But he was only a program that had been designed especially for her. Or was he? Kainan Randall/Kagan Ravenswood is in fact a detective for THE WORLD POLICE and was indeed part of her fantasy. He is undercover at MetraTek to find out the relationship between the missing people on CVR and bodies that are turning up all over the city, all the while trying to stay one step ahead of Jillian who is trying to find out who he really is. Jillian confronts him and he is forced to admit that he was part of her Virtual Scenario, but now bigger things are at stake. Only with careful investigation and caution by Kainan can he hope to foil Angus' attempt to steal MetraTek's innovative technology and keep the woman he loves out of the clutches of a sadistic madman.
