This collection is the result of a b257 of years work and provides a set of transmission and pyrolysate spectra of a comprehensive range of technically important rubber and plastic materials, including copolymers and blends, which are in current use. Spectra were stored at 4cm-1 resolution and plotted in % transmittance (4000 cm-1 to 400 cm-1). The collection is available on diskette(s) in a wide range of formats (Biorad/Sadtler, Nicolet, J Camp, Galactic, Perkin Elmer, and Mattson) for loading into instrument library search files, together with a book which contains a printed copy of each spectrum. The book is indexed by both polymer type and tradename and it is also available for purchase separately.
