The Sad Fish. Who is the sad fish? I believe that all the world's fish are sad. In this story the sad fish is Red Fish and his friend Blue Fish. Why would fish be sad? Let's begin with the water. Water is a gift from God. All living people, creatures, plants, animals, and fish need water to survive live and flourish. This is what Red Fish is trying to say to the people of planet Earth. It is not enough that people are destructive to everything on Earth. It is also the fact that people take things for granted. This is especially true with water! People like to camp and fish near water. As a result, they leave all of their garbage and plastic bottles on the ground or in the water. In this story Red Fish writes a letter to the people of planet Earth asking them to stop polluting and being so destructive to our planet. While living in the streams of Mt. Baldy, Red Fish lived a normal fish life, swimming around and playing with his friend Blue Fish. While swimming around, Red Fish noticed that his stream had become polluted with garbage and plastic bottles. Red Fish and Blue Fish noticed that other fish were dying from all the garbage and plastic bottles in the water. It was at that moment that Red Fish realized that all the fish might die. The message that Red Fish is trying to say to the people of planet Earth is that "we all may die," fish and people. If people of planet Earth thought like Red Fish, all the water would be free of garbage and plastic bottles. Red Fishes message: "I am a sad fish. Stop polluting our world. Stop being so destructive to our planet Earth. We would like you to stop so that we all can live. Water is life!"
