There is only one known written record of Quillem, the Domesday Book of 1086 reads: Quillem is a tiny hamlet in the south Cornish countryside, a place where nothing special can be spoken of, there are sixteen homes, a bakers, a butchers and a blacksmiths. The people of Quillem are a solitary lot with no wish of the outside world. That being said no one we know of that has visited the hamlet has ever returned
